Q: I signed up for a free download, but I didn’t get the link. Where can I find my free book?
A: I give away several free books. The link should reach you by email, but occasionally an email just fails to go out — or more often, ends up in your spam or promotions folder. To make sure you get future email from me, I’d recommend checking those folders and whitelisting my email address :).
But just in case you can’t find it, here are the direct links to your free download:

Q: I couldn’t get my free download to work (or I am having trouble getting it onto my Kindle or other device). Can you help me?
A: I use a service called BookFunnel to give away free books, mostly because they have an awesome help desk to help you with all your technical download needs :). To get their help managing your download, go back to the free download page and click “Need Help?” in the top righthand corner. (See the list of download pages above.)
Alternatively, you can contact them at help@bookfunnel.com for help managing your download. Make sure you let them know exactly what book you’re trying to get, as they manage thousands of titles for many different authors.
Q: I acted on the limited deal you offered and bought Books 2&3 of the Seventh World Trilogy, but I didn’t get the link for my downloads. Where can I get my books?
A: When you bought the series, you should have gotten access in two ways:
- Immediately on the page where you made the purchase, and
- In an email from Gumroad, my online bookseller.
You may be able to find your email with the link in your spam or promotions folder (search “Gumroad” or the email address “noreply@customers.gumroad.com.” But just in case you can’t, here’s the direct link for your purchase (for buyers only, please): https://books.bookfunnel.com/7wt-books-2-3
Q: I couldn’t get my Books 2&3 download, and I want a refund.
A: You can access your downloads at the link in the previous question. However, if you would still like a refund, you can email my admin assistant at thomsonemerald@gmail.com. Please use the subject line “need a refund from Rachel.” Please note that we are not able to prioritize email, so it may be a week or two before we can get back to you. Our apologies!
Q: I am a member of one of your courses or memberships, and I’m not sure where I can access my materials.

Q: Why don’t you read or answer reader email anymore?
A: After several years of trying to be readily accessible to readers, I’ve learned that if I spend my time reading and answering email, I don’t write books. This doesn’t really serve either of us well, and on my part, it’s poor stewardship — it’s not being faithful to my calling to write. But please know that I wrestled with this decision and that I miss hearing from you.
