It’s been a privilege and a joy for me to release my new book this week.

As the first in a series of “narrative commentaries” on the gospel of Matthew, this book has been more than four years in the making.
It takes a storytelling, Old-Testament-contextualizing, deep-personal-reflecting approach to the first four chapters of the gospel of Matthew — the gospel where we meet Jesus, the King of heaven, and his now-and-not-yet, here-and-not-here kingdom for the first time.
My prayer for this book is that it will shift paradigms, strengthen the body of Christ, and give readers a place of deep understanding and encounter with God.
