The Lord’s Prayer in a Time of Coronavirus

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!

(Let there be healing, deliverance, and rescue.
Let your presence be palpable in our midst.
May you be exalted and lifted high.
May we surrender to your working
in every part of our lives and society.)

Give us today our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.

(As our economy is suffering, we look to you for our needs.
for you have always been our Provider,
and you know what we need.
May we be generous and quick to forgive,
and may we receive generosity and forgiveness.
Financially, personally, and spiritually.
May the debts of our time be cancelled out
in worldwide Jubilee.)

Lead us not into temptation (trial, trouble, testing)
but deliver us from the Evil One.

For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory.
Forever and ever.
